Randy originally was mentored by former Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus clown, Michael O’Shaughnessy – owner of the world-renowned “Circus Clowns” store.
Randy began pursuing every professional training opportunity available – having now trained with some of the premiere clowns in the world including:
- Arthur Pedlar (England),
- Avner Eisenberg (Celebration Barn Theater, Portland, Maine)
- Greg Goldston (Goldston-Johnson School of Mime, Gambier, Ohio)
- Karen Hoyer (RBBB trainer, Chicago, Illinois)
- …and many others
Randy’s expertise has opened performance doors for him as the featured solo clown for the International Clown Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Milwaukee, WI, at the Clowns International Convention in Bognor, Regis, England, and as a pre-event performer for Cirque Du Soliel. In 2011 Randy won the title of “Master Clown” from the World Clown Association and was named the international “Clown of the Year” in 2013.
Randy’s goal is to provide good, clean, wholesome comedy for “kids of all ages,” once again winning back a skeptical audience by presenting fun, knee-slapping, physical-based clown comedy at a world-class level.
